365 by Whole Foods Brings Friends of 365 Program to 7th Store
CONCORD, CA - Whole Foods Market 365 is delving even further into the plant-based and organic categories with its Friends of 365 program–currently composed of less than ten partnerships.
100% plant-based burger joint Next Level Burger and certified organic food company Urban Remedy are the latest to be welcomed into the project, which varies from store to store, according to a press release.
“Friends of 365 is a program within our stores that introduces shoppers to innovative food and lifestyle brands outside our company,” the retailer said. “By partnering with these outside vendors, Friends of 365 provides customers with an additional fun, high-quality experience within Whole Foods 365.”
Next Level Burger was founded by husband and wife team Cierra and Matthew de Gruyter, providing meats that are completely plant-based. Local and certified organic, Urban Remedy is “harnessing the healing power of food” by making fresh and ready-to-eat meals, cold pressed juices, and snacks.
Each, Whole Foods said, shares its quality standards and have demonstrated a unique expertise in a cuisine, concept, or product.
Next Level Burger and Urban Remedy will both join the new 29,200-square-foot Concord, California, 365 location when it opens on December 6th. It will be the seventh Whole Foods Market 365 to open nationally.
