Agt3 Holdings Appoints A.G. Kawamura to its Board of Directors
LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA - The indoor vertical growing technology company, Agt3 Holdings, announced the appointment of its newest board member, A.G. Kawamura. A Western Growers board member, Kawamura has now joined Agt3 Holdings' Board of Agriculture Industry Leaders and Innovators.

The Agt3 Holdings Board is composed of leaders in the agricultural industry who bring with them unparalleled experience and expertise in sustainable, economically strong, urban farming. According to a press release, the board members provide strategic insight and support to further Agt3’s mission to build sustainable farms in urban areas across the nation, and address issues concerning the rapidly evolving urban agriculture landscape.

Kawamura serves on several boards and committees including as co-chair of Solutions From the Land; AGree Initiative’s Ag Advisory Committee; the Board on Agriculture and Natural Resources (BANR); Chicago Council on Global Affairs’ Ag Advisory Committee; Trustee for the Council on Agriculture, Science and Technology (CAST); American Farmland Trust; The 25x25 Alliance; and the Advisory Committee for the Agricultural Sustainability Institute (ASI) at U.C. Davis.
He is dedicated to the goal of ending hunger in his lifetime and has worked in innovative ways to provide fresh produce to local food banks through his non-profit, Orange County Harvest. Currently, and through his company, Orange County Produce, LLC, he and his brother Matt Kawamura are building an exciting, interactive, 21st-century agricultural solution showcase at the OC Great Park in Irvine, CA.
An advocate of water conservation and responsibility, Kawamura also serves on the boards of the Southern California Water Committee, WateReuse, and is a founding member of the Delta Vision Foundation.
