Greenyard USA/Seald Sweet Announces Retirement of Michael Walsh



VERO BEACH, FL - Farewells are never easy, especially when it comes to the tight knit bonds like those formed in the produce industry. Fortunately, though, those “farewells” soon turn into “see you laters” as we all get to watch our friends grow into the next stage of their life’s journey. Greenyard USA/Seald Sweet will soon be saying its own “see you later” to Michael Walsh Sr. as he prepares to retire at the end of this month.

I truly enjoyed my time working with them. Their global reach on sourcing is compelling,” expressed Walsh.

Walsh joined the company as an Account Executive and brought a wealth of knowledge with him. Not only did he make a positive impact at Greenyard USA/Seald Sweet, but he has been involved in the produce industry for nearly 44 years with his career starting in the Philadelphia produce market with Procacci Brothers.

Greenyard USA/Seald Sweet will soon be saying its own “see you later” to Michael Walsh Sr. as he prepares to retire at the end of this month

According to a press release, Walsh turned that experience into managing a few well-respected grape, stonefruit, and citrus companies including Unifrutti, Oppenheimer, Chiquita, and Del Monte Fresh.
