WENATCHEE, WA - Stemilt Growers is primed to drive sales and catch consumers' eyes with expanded organic production and value-added Organic Lil' Snappers offerings.

I recently spoke with Communications Manager Brianna Shales about developments in the company's expanding organics program and the opportunities involved in Stemilt’s Lil’ Snappers program.

Brianna Shales, Communications Manager, Stemilt Growers“Stemilt has increased significantly in organic volume this year,” said Shales. “So, we have a 3 lb organic line-up of all key varieties that will offer retailers a really good opportunity this late winter and spring season.”

One variety offered is the company's signature Piñata apple, much of which has been grown organically and features prominently in the Lil’ Snappers program.

Stemilt anticipates that the organic Piñata Lil’ Snappers will be a great January choice to market to parents with its grab-and-go bag.

“It really fits the bill for today’s parents and their need to provide products,” said Shales.
