Chelan Fresh's Rockit™ Apples Partner with Walmart at Halloween Drive-thru Events Across the Country
CHELAN, WA - Celebrating Halloween was a bit different this year, but that didn’t stop industry powerhouses like Chelan Fresh from turning the holiday into a spook-tacular event. Through its partnership with Walmart, Chelan provided its Rockit™ Apples for the retailer’s Halloween drive-thru trick-or-treat events.
“Apples are a quintessential fall treat and we are thrilled to give trick-or-treaters of all ages the chance to discover Rockit Apples,” said Julie DeJarnatt, Director of Retail Strategy. “Walmart is reimagining Halloween for families, and we are happy to help them reimagine the perfect sweet snack."
Free for all who attended, the retailer encouraged families to celebrate Halloween safely, all while dressing in costume and enjoying sweet treats. According to a press release, people walked away with an appreciation for Rockit as a healthy and sweet addition to their normal Halloween haul.
The Rockit Apple has long been a favorite for kids and all those who are kids at heart. A perfect Halloween color—blushing red—the apple stood out in Halloween treat bags.
