Greener Fields Together Announces First Meals Matter Event
ATLANTA, GA - PRO*ACT’s Greener Fields Together will be launching the first Make Your Meals Matter at the end of this month, Saturday, July 23, in Atlanta, GA.
In collaboration with Venkman’s in the Old Fourth Ward, the event will be a brunch held from 10:30 am to 3 pm with the aim of highlighting and celebrating local and seasonal products through specific appetizers and entrees with only those local ingredients.
Venkman’s menu, Greener Fields Together said in a press release, boasts a menu true to its southern roots, with Cast Iron Fried Chicken, while also being full of playful spins on comfort dishes such as the Venk-Griddle and the Big Ass Sticky Bun.
A partner to the company since last February because of its dedication to sourcing the freshest produce from local farmers, and coordinates its menu with Royal Food Service, which supports local farms, for seasonally and locally available products.
