SANTA PAULA, CA - After its recent acquisition of an Oxnard-based lemon company, Limoneira continues to grow and expand. This time around, the company is expanding the depth of its management team. Limoneira announced that Edgar Gutierrez recently joined the company as Senior Director of Agricultural Operations.

With his proven business acumen combined with his energy, we are confident he will be a strong addition to our management team and enable us to successfully expand our global reach including our stewardship and food safety initiatives.”

Gutierrez comes to Limoneira from Wonderful Citrus, where he was the Research and Development Director of the company’s Mexican division and oversaw 1,400 acres of land under production. According to a press release, he has extensive citrus experience in Mexico and Central America.
