MADISON, WI - Auspicious times are in store for the employees of Allen Lund Company’s (ALC) Madison office. The prominent transportation broker announced the promotion of three employees to managerial positions at the branch office.

Dave Comber, Ben Tinker, and Mike Meyer were respectively promoted to Manager, Assistant Manager, and Operations Manager.

"I am very excited to assume the leadership of the Madison office as Branch Manager,” remarked Comber, in a company press release. “I want to thank Eddie Lund and the Executive Committee for this opportunity. I also want to thank Rick Barker for his leadership and guidance of our office over the years. The Madison team plans to continue to meet and exceed our customer's service expectations. We look forward to this new chapter for our office, and plan on taking the Madison office to the next level."

Comber has been with ALC for three years. He brings over 15 years of management and customer service experience within the transportation industry to his new role. Prior to working with ALC, Comber held positions with Northern Freight Service, Inc. and Schneider National, Inc.

The branch’s new Assistant Manager, Tinker, had previously served as the branch’s Business Development Specialist. Tinker has been with ALC for three years, and his previous 10 years of industry experience has included stints with Northern Feight Services, Stoughton Logistics, and C.H. Robinson.

Tinker intends to continue to grow the company’s operations in Madison and focus primarily on sales: "I am enthusiastic for the future of the Madison office and my new role on the team,” said Tinker. “I am up for the challenge of growing our office within this fast paced and always changing industry. Incoming Operations Manager Mike Meyer has been with ALC for three years. In his new capacity, he will assist Ben Tinker and be instrumental to the function of ALC’s Madison office. Tinker had previously served as a Transportation Broker with the company and has six years of combined experience with ALC, Northern Freight and Panther Logistics, LLC.

"I am excited to assume the role of Operations Manager in the Madison office,” said Meyer. “I look forward to the opportunity to work with our team to continue providing excellent service to our customers and accept the challenge to help grow our office.
