Sol Group Marketing's Mark Cassius Details Winter Melon Program Prior to SEPC Southern Exposure
POMPANO BEACH, FL - Time flies in this industry, as we’re already looking ahead at Southeast Produce Council’s (SEPC) Southern Exposure. Taking place March 2–4, this show will be home to many exciting opportunities for companies across fresh produce. One company you won’t want to miss is Sol Group Marketing and its melon lineup.
“Sol is the leading one-stop shop for all winter melons and watermelon needs from November through mid-May,” Mark Cassius, President, shared with me. “We tailor programs to fit our customers’ needs. The melon category allows us to deliver varying flavors, textures, and sweetness to consumers during the winter period when fruit experiences are limited.”
The company’s signature Royal Golden cantaloupe and conventional cantaloupe will be exhibited, in addition to its proprietary variety of Honeydew, mini watermelons, and seedless watermelons.
“There might be a few surprises, as well,” Mark teased, before diving into the benefits of partnering with Sol.
In addition to delivering a great experience to consumers, Sol’s team is known for their focus on every aspect of quality.
“We focus on flavor, consistent quality, availability, and service. Those are the keys to our program,” Mark noted. “We are vertically integrated throughout the growing, packing, and supply chain which allows us to deliver freshness within the continental United States and Canada.”
Be sure to stop by booth #420 to see what Sol Group Marketing has in store. There’s a test kitchen, so you won’t want to miss out!
