Sunview Marketing International's Mitch Wetzel Discusses New Packaging and More



ANAHEIM, CA - For table grape producers, they know that demand is high. Bringing quality to the space in a cost-efficient and sustainable way is a tall order, but it’s one that companies like Sunview Marketing International are happy to beat.

Mitch Wetzel, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, discussed with us recent developments that are helping Sunview stand out.

“We've got a lot of excitement around our new raisin packaging. It's just starting to roll out probably in the next two weeks,” Mitch remarked on the Global Produce & Floral Show floor. "We've gone to a clear package where you can actually see the size of the raisins.”

He noted that the raisins are typically 150 percent bigger than traditional raisins consumers might be used to seeing. This is due to the fact that the raisins are made from table grapes underneath Sunview Marketing International’s umbrella.

“Not only is it making a fantastic product, but it's really helping with our food waste,” he added. “We're also extending our Carnival line. We've had Sweet Carnival™ in the past, and now we're up to commercial production of Fruit Punch.”

All of those are under the same brand, featuring the same motif and artwork. Additional varieties to the brand include a red seedless, but you’ll just have to watch Mitch’s interview above to learn more!
