INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Congratulations are in order! The Produce Moms® Founder and Chief Executive Officer Lori Taylor announced the creation of The Produce Moms Trailblazer Award, presenting the inaugural award to Sarah Frey, Founder and CEO of Frey Farms.

It will be awarded annually, just before Thanksgiving. After all, much of what we are thankful for in business and in life is due to a courageous trailblazer, and Sarah Frey is the epitome of a trailblazer!”

According to a press release, this award recognizes an individual who has made a unique contribution to the food and beverage industry, spotlighting trailblazers in agriculture, technology, grocery, logistics, investment, and more.

Frey began her own fresh produce delivery business at the age of 15, leading her to become one of the leading producers of pumpkins and earning the nickname “America’s Pumpkin Queen.”

Frey Farms is now among the largest producers of cold-pressed watermelon juice in the United States, distributing nationally to retail grocery and foodservice under the brands Tsamma and Sarah’s Homegrown.
