Wada Farms' Eric Beck Shares Details of Upcoming Showcase at Organic Produce Summit
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Can you believe we’re only a few weeks away from Organic Produce Summit (OPS)? The show, put on by Organic Produce Network, is one of the most anticipated events of the year, and for good reason. Gathering a host of growers, buyers, and everything in between, this year’s event is sure to be one for the books.
I spoke to Eric Beck, Wada Farms’ Director of Marketing, to learn about what his company has in store.
“We will be showcasing our full lineup of organic offerings at OPS this year,” Eric tells me. “Wada continues to refine our organic program to be a one-stop shop for the better part of the storage season, which makes it easier for supply chain efficiencies and the overall bottom line.”
Wada Farms will also have a full range of Russet, Red, and Yellow organic potatoes, which already began in late August and will last through the better part of Spring 2022.
“Total acreage for Idaho-grown organics is approximately 750 acres,” Eric imparts. “Our growers take the utmost pride in seed generation, developing varieties that can withstand the complex variables of storing potatoes for most of the calendar year. Attendees at OPS should stop by to discuss ways in which we can make their organic programs more seamless and streamlined to meet their customers’ needs.”
