BAKERSFIELD, CA - The countdown to Organic Produce Summit (OPS) is in the single-digit days now, and we truly can’t be more excited to see industry friends in Monterey, California. One business friend we have on our must-stop list is Grimmway Farms, and Bob Borda shares the same sentiments.

“We’re continuing to expand our organic farming operations across California, the Pacific Northwest, and our Southeast growing regions,” says Bob. “This focus on the regional growing regions reduces the food miles our products travel while providing our consumers with fresher products. The efforts, although costly, build greater resiliency into our supply chain, thus ensuring consistent supplies to our customer base.”

The Cal-Organic team is eager to talk about our gold, red, and russet potato varieties at booth #803, in addition to the more than 65 varieties of organic vegetables available for loading at our Lamont, California, facility year-round,” Bob explains. “According to Numerator, the Cal-Organic Farms brand had the highest household penetration of any organic vegetable brand in the last 52 weeks ending May 21, 2023.”
