KINGSVILLE, ONTARIO, CANADA - Ever wondered what makes up the Mastronardi Produce® booth? Driving in with exciting products, promotional hints, and pure energy, the Mastronardi Produce team definitely took it to the next level with its latest developments. We caught up with Julia Shreve, Director of Marketing – Brand and Innovation, to learn more about the greenhouse grower and what SUNSET® has to offer and how it approaches a showcase.

“We have a brand-new booth this year with some fun digitals,” Julia started. “We always bring the energy and the excitement. There is great music going on, and we really try to make it a destination for our visitors.”

A highlight for me was a tid-bit regarding the closely guarded secret of the annual Mastronardi party, which Julia disclosed not even most of the staff knows!

Aside from fan favorites such as the Campari tomatoes and Angel Sweet® grape tomatoes, the team showed off some new innovations expected to launch this year. The first would be its Queen of Greens® salad kits, which is a line extension to its existing Queen of Greens lettuce. The line features four individual salad kits, each with premium ingredients.

The second one is its Umami Bomb®, a gorgeous, pink grape tomato featuring a savory umami flavor that is the fifth in the Bombs lineup.

And last but not least is the grower’s Summer Dream™ raspberries.

“This is a firm, sweet, and juicy raspberry that brings summer flavor all year long,” explains Julia. “As pioneers and leaders in greenhouse growing, we work really hard to bring the excitement to the show and make our booth a destination.”
