ORLANDO, FL - As I often say, there’s something beautiful about new beginnings. (Or perhaps I’m thinking of someone older and wiser than I will ever be.) No matter the case, new beginnings are in store for the National Mango Board (NMB), who recently welcomed Michele Hoard as its new Retail Account Manager for the West Coast region of the United States. Hoard succeeds Katie Manetti, who worked with the NMB since 2008.

Michele Hoard, Retail Account Manager, West Coast, National Mango Board“I am excited to join an innovative association like the National Mango Board,” stated Michele Hoard. “They understand the unique balance in the produce industry of relationships, data driven information, and effective marketing tools in building strong promotional partnerships.”

Hoard comes to the NMB with 20 years of experience working for industry leaders including Zespri International and the New York Apple Association. Throughout her career, she has held roles in field marketing, business development, strategic marketing, and account management. In her current position, Hoard will work with retailers in the West coast to set strategic programs and help retailers grow their mango category and increase year-round mango sales.
