MONTEREY, CA - As in-person industry events make their long-awaited return, the opportunity to meld minds with talented leaders across the organic sector is here. The Organic Produce Network (OPN) recently announced that registration is officially open for the Organic Grower Summit (OGS) on December 1–2 in Monterey, California.

Working with Western Growers and their expertise in the ag tech arena will provide growers expanded education and information that is critical for the future of the organic industry,” said Tonya Antle, Co-Founder of the Organic Produce Network. “Over the next five months we’re thrilled to be putting together a program that brings all facets of organic growing and production together under one roof to exchange ideas and information.”

The fourth annual Organic Grower Summit is produced in partnership with OPN and Western Growers, and will be an in-person event featuring targeted educational sessions on organic production opportunities and challenges led by leading authorities across the supply chain, a press release explained. Organic supply chain partners and service providers are encouraged to sign up for a booth to experience two days of information, education, and networking opportunities.

Additional presentations from influential speakers will address the future of organic growing with an emphasis on technology’s role in the revolution of farming. Exhibitors will include soil amendment, food safety, ag technology, packaging and equipment, supply chain managers, pest management advisors, and food safety experts.

OGS 2021 will take place at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa in Monterey, California.
