Church Brothers Farms to Showcase Redy-Pep™ Peppers and Diced Broccoli Stem Blend at New York Produce Show
SALINAS, CA – With the New York Produce Show only a month away, companies across the board are planning innovative ways to shine on the floor. Church Brothers Farms has announced that it plans to showcase its two newest products and packaging to this year’s attendees of the event.
“Broccoli is highly nutritious and adds great color and flavor to food,” stated Kori Tuggle, Vice President of Marketing, of the company’s new diced broccoli stem blend. “Our partners are excited about the convenience these items bring to their operations; both save labor and food waste.”
In addition, Tuggle stated in a press release that the diced broccoli stem blend also hits the company’s dual goals of reducing food waste while increasing grower yields. These products were created by the company’s research and development group in order to further commit to reducing food waste.
Church Brothers Farm will also be displaying its Redy-Pep™ Peppers to attendees. These value-added selections have had both their tops and inner seeds removed in order to offer consumers consistent quality, size uniformity, and convenience.
The Redy-Pep™ Peppers’ new-to-market format also helps extend shelf-life when compared to regular peppers due to lowered food waste, as well as labor and freight costs. The peppers can be stored from 34 to 38 degrees.
On top of these new product selections, Church Brothers Farms will round out its booth display with new packaging, which involves a redesign for its retail club-size clamshells and poly bags bearing the True Leaf Farms brand.
Attendees of the show will also be able to view the company’s organic tender-leaf product line and newest blends of Kale Color Crunch and Baby Kale Medley along with Church Brothers Farms’ full line of category and value-added packs created for foodservice and retail channels.
